Sprucing up for the holidays

Goodbye October, hello November! The holidays are quickly approaching. This is the time of year when family and friends get together to share old and new family traditions. Sprucing up your home doesn't take a whole lot of time or money. Here are a few minor items to get your place up and ready for the holidays.

Pillows:
This is a great way to not only change the look of your space but they give you that pop of color.

Lamps:
Not only are lamps decorative, it gives you plenty of lighting

Plants:
You don't necessarily need to have a green thumb. Succulents are a great way to add color and they're easy to maintain. Even, bonsai trees are easy to care for.

What if there's limited space? Try the Urbio modular wall system. This is a great alternative for city dwellers with limited tabletop space. You can find this really cool system at myurbio.com or you can walk into your nearest The Container Store.

Window Treatments:
Curtains are nice because they can be a nice alternative to painting walls. Window treatments can also save on your cooling/heating cost. Hang them just below your ceiling to add height to a room.
